Seriously. Stop it. 3D animation is just as cool as 2D. Personally, I like it more.
Was browsing through some 2D stamps, and I saw some absolutely attrocious comments about how 3D animation is 'lazy' and 'crap' and 'souless' and how 'real artists' do 2D animation instead. How about the people who are saying that go and try 3D animation? Do you think it's EASY? Do you think you press a button and the animation MAGICALLY happens?!  I've tried both, and I can honetly say that 3D animation is harder than 2D. At least it was for me, I can't speak for everyone else.And you know what? Try walking up to Pixar and telling them that their stuff is has no soul. So really people. Don't diss 3D animation. It's awesome, a lot of effort goes into it, and if the story is great, who gives a damn what type of animation it is anyway?! Stamp template: [link] |

I made some pictures in an 3D program (Bryce 3D, it was a long time ago) and I think I have an idea of how difficult yet fun it is. Animation was so difficult for me to make that I made only a few of them, and they were like rolling balls or some other silly stuff.
Still, I would like to see more 2D cartoons made by the big producers like Disney, as there are much more 3D cartoons coming out nowadays - maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.

There are some crap movies that give 3D bad name, but come on, people forget how many there were terrible 2D sequels back then.
Personally, I love both 2D and 3D. Don't make me choose!
