Realistically rendered Pikachu. I took 'realistic' literally here. This is all I see when I watch/play Pokemon. Animals getting beaten half to death.
This lucky pikachu escaped as the Pokeball he was trapped in had a chemical defect. His wounds are from the move rock throw, scratch and stun spore. His eye had to be sugically removed from the infection stun spore created. Without medical treatment on the scratches, he'll die very soon.
Not to proud of the bg here... I don't mind the box on the left, but I pretty much hate everything else. That reflection... is... bleaugh! Well, it's my first time doing a reflection... or cardboard boxes for that matter, so any critique on those would help. I'm especially proud of my scratches. I never knew I could draw blood!
Okay, I'll stop bashing Pokemon for a while.
Edidit: I added the cheeks. I honestly thought they were just cheezy cutsey blushing spots. I didn't know they were actually part of pikachus anatomy.
Aw, poor Pikachu! This is a bit sad really. ): I love seeing pictures of "realistic" Pokemon and I think you've done it very well. The background looks good as well, I think if it had any more detail it would distract from Pikachu and maybe look out of place. The colours all work well together as well.

You bring up a good point. I was considreing having old broken bottles and stuff there... but honetly, I'm lazy when it comes to these things. I WILL have to do it someday, though. X( Thanks, too!
It's kinda scary... I remember being totally obsessed with pokemon, and pikachu especially, so this is flipping me out.... I like the boxes, they look great, really show how he has nothing.... And his teeth....they're fantastic!

I also personally think the boxes are great, as well as the reflection (and, of course, the Pikachu himself), so a very nicely-done picture all round!
